Liberal Democrats Select Gully Bansal for Kingswinford and South Staffordshire

Gully Bansal has been selected by the Liberal Democrats to contest the seat of Kingswinford and South Staffordshire at the upcoming general election.

Gully launched his campaign in Kinver, engaging with residents and traders alongside Lib Dem Kinver district councillors Steph Dufty and Greg Spruce.

A seasoned professional in the digital industry, Gully resides in Codsall, in the north of the constituency, with his wife and children. In the 2023 local district elections, Gully garnered a notable 526 votes when he contested the Codsall seat for the Liberal Democrats, demonstrating their growing support base in the area.

Speaking about his candidacy, Gully Bansal stated: "It's a tremendous honour to represent the Liberal Democrats in Kingswinford and South Staffordshire. I am eager to advocate for change in the upcoming general election. The current Conservative government has failed us on multiple fronts, from the crisis in our NHS and the scarcity of GP appointments to the deplorable condition of our roads plagued with numerous potholes. Local residents are rightfully disillusioned with a government that has neglected their needs."

Moving forward, Gully Bansal aims to address these pressing issues and bring about positive change for the constituents of Kingswinford and South Staffordshire. His vision encompasses rescuing our NHS, improving infrastructure and protecting the greenbelt.
